A family workshop, since 2001
Yacht Shelter opened in 2001. Takis Paspalidis had been sailing since the 1980s, and the workshop came out of that. For the past ten years the work has been sails, covers and upholstery for yachts of all kinds.
The boats are in the Dodecanese, the Ionian, and Athens. The workshop is in Kalligoni, Lefkada. Owners come back.
It is a family workshop. A job starts with a conversation and a proposal for the cloth and the fit. Yacht Shelter designs it, tries it on the boat, and fits it. Boats with an awkward shape are part of the work, and so is advice on looking after the yacht.
